Is this a house or a condo?
This is a three story, 4-bedroom home with 3 full baths located in the gated community of Emerald Shores.  Each bedroom has it's own television and access to the porches.  It has over 2000 sq. ft. of living space to stretch out and enjoy your vacation.

Is this house on the beach?
No. This house is about 125 yards to the beach. It takes under 4 minutes to walk from the house to the beach. If this house were on the beach the rental rates would be about 3 to 4 times what we charge.

Can I see the water from this house?
Yes you can see a small part of the ocean from the 3rd floor balcony.

What are the other fees?
There are none. The only charge is the rent and Florida State sales tax.

What is the pavilion?
The pavilion is a covered building directly on the beach with restrooms, picnic tables and a sun bathing deck for your use while on the beach.  No more running back to your hotel room when one of your kids has to go to the bathroom!

Do you have beach service? (Chairs on the beach.)
Yes, there is a small daily fee for beach service. It is seasonal. You may bring your own chairs to the beach.

Where is the house located in Destin?
It is on Old 98 next to the beach between Pompano Joe’s and Captain Dave’s. Emerald Shores is one block East of the subdivision called DESTINY. We are about Ľ mile East of the Crab Shack.  There is access to Emerald Shores from both Old 98 and New 98 making your access to the shopping and many activities of Destin more convenient

Is the pool heated?
Yes. The pool is open all year and is heated to about 85 degrees in the cooler seasons
 

What do I need to bring to DESTINATION?
Food. We have everything else. You may want to bring your beach towels, toys for the beach and pool. We provide VCR’s and Playstation game system along with movies and games. You may want to bring your own games and videotapes if you have some favorites. We have a washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, all kitchen equipment, like refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, all plates, dishes, cups, cooking pots and pans.

Is the cleaning included?
Yes. We have the unit professionally cleaned after your stay. We do not have daily maid service. There is a vacuum and brooms and dust pans should you need them during your stay.

What do I do if I have a problem while on vacation?
We have a local manager that we provide you with. You will have their phone numbers and they are glad to help. You also may contact me at anytime while you are on vacation and I can call people to help you.

What is there to do in DESTIN?
This list is endless. Destin grows each year. It is a resort town. It caters to people on vacation. Here is a short list of activities: fishing, boating, biking, shopping, golf and more golf, go-carts, more shopping, parasailing, dune buggies, water parks, air force museum, site seeing, jet ski rentals, many quality restaurants, plus much more.

How are the bedrooms situated, and what is the number of Beds, and what size are they?
There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  The 1^st floor has a bedroom with a queen size bed.  The 1^st floor also has a sleep sofa in the living room.  There is 1 full bath on the 1^st floor.  The 2^nd floor has one bedroom with a queen size bed and one bedroom with two twin beds.  There is 1 full bathroom on the 2^nd floor.  The 3^rd floor master bedroom has a king size bed and also has a pull out sleep sofa.  There is 1 full bathroom on the 3^rd floor with a Jacuzzi tub.
